H&H Land and Property Open New Office in Dumfries & Galloway

4th December 2017

Eager to continue the expansion of professional support it offers across southern Scotland, H&H Land and Property has today announced the opening of its second Scottish office. Based in Thornhill, Dumfries & Galloway, the opening of this office is a direct result of increased demand for their services and support from rural and farming businesses in the south-west of Scotland, and follows on from the launch of the company’s Newtown St Boswells office last year.

To mark the official opening H&H Land and Property are holding an open evening from their Drumlanrig Street base on Wednesday 13th December from 5pm and all are welcome to attend.

Cementing its already strong reputation and providing an extensive range of services, the Thornhill office will be headed up by Chartered Surveyor, Emily Mason, RICS, who is herself a resident of the area. Emily will be supported by Alistair MacMillan, Rural Property Advisor. Well known and respected in the area, Alistair has worked on behalf of H&H Land and Property locally for many years selling land and farms. Both will offer practical hands-on support and concise business advice from this additional office.

On giving background to the opening of the Thornhill Office, James Murphy, Managing Director, H&H Land and Property, said:

“We are delighted to be offering customers in the area a practical base as well as providing the H&H Land and Property team with the foundations to further develop and grow the business across Dumfries and Galloway. Emily and Alistair are experienced, knowledgeable and visionary and I know that they will provide customers, looking for guidance in these times of change and uncertainty, with the vital support that they require.”

With its head office in Carlisle, H&H Land and Property has a reputation for working closely with customers to maximise potential from their land and farms. This includes property valuations for a wide variety of purposes, including taxation and option appraisals; land, farms and property sales; compulsory purchase and compensation advice; rural estate management; Landlord and Tenant  advice; and farm and business management.  Customers will also benefit from wider support services, such as planning and development provided by their extensive team of qualified chartered surveyors and specialist staff.

Chartered Surveyor Emily Mason gives some further background: “As a company we are totally committed to providing customers with an all-encompassing range of quality products and services.  Being from the area myself, and with the support of Alistair who has worked this area for many years, our aim is to provide customers a very different approach, one which will truly add to their business.”
