Mark Barrow Promoted to Head of Land Agency (South Lakes)17th July 2019
As part of our ongoing growth, we are proud to announce the promotion of Associate and Chartered Surveyor, Mark Barrow, to the role of Head of Land Agency for the South Lakes. In this newly created role, Mark will be based in the company’s Kendal office to support its extensive client base in south Cumbria and Lancashire.
Born and brought up on his family’s farm near Appleby in the Eden Valley, where his family still farm Holstein Friesian dairy cows and Lleyn sheep, Mark has a lifetime’s experience and knowledge of Cumbria’s rural sectors from both a professional and hands-on perspective.
This solid farming background saw Mark graduate from the University of Central Lancashire with an Honours Degree in Environment and Land Management, before gaining a Post Graduate Distinction in Surveying from the College of Estate Management and been awarded the Alistair Turnbull prize for the highest marks in the Northumbria and Cumbria Branch of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) fellowship exams. He joined our team almost 10 years ago as an Environmental Advisor and during this time, his career with the company has progressed to fully qualified Chartered Surveyor, Associate and now Head of Land Agency for the South Lakes.
Working with a highly qualified and professional team, in his new role Mark will be responsible for advising clients on a broad range of rural issues. He will also build on the company’s strong foundations to further develop the business and services offered by H&H Land and Property.
On accepting this promotion and appointment Mark Barrow, said:
