Available to let under an annual licence to be negotiated by the parties. The commencement date will be the beginning from 1st October 2019 and 1st March 2020. Expressions of Interest to be submitted to H&H Land and Property Limited, Borderway, Rosehill, Carlisle, CA1 2RS no later than 12.00 noon on Wednesday 4th September 2019.

The land is situated 1 mile North of the village of Bassenthwaite approximately 3 miles South of Uldale and 6 miles South East of Bothel.

Sheep and cattle are allowed on the land for the period of 1st April until 30th September. Sheep only between 1st October until 31st March. No horses allowed. No supplementary feeding allowed.

The Basic Payment Scheme over the land will be retained by the Licensor for the duration of the agreement.

The land benefits from a mains and natural water supply.

The rent for the agreement will be payable in advance in two equal instalments on 1st October and 1st April in every year of the term.

The Licensee will be responsible for insuring his own stock, crop and equipment.

The Licensee will not be allowed to sub-let, part with possession or take in stock in relation to any part of the Holding or to share occupation of the Holding.

The Licensor will apply a compound fertiliser of 25:5:5 of to the land at an application rate of 50kg per acre. This will be applied by the Licensor during the month of April.
