Location and situation
Scorton is a popular and attractive village close to the A1, the main
north/south arterial route in the north of England. The village is
close to the larger towns of Catterick Garrison 8 km (5 miles),
Richmond 10km (6 miles), Northallerton 18km (11 miles) and
